    This chilli is a hot, citrus like-flavored pepper which is a popular seasoning pepper in Peru and known as Kellu Uchu^. It’s rated around 30,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) where a Jalapeno pepper produces between 3,500-8,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU)!!!

    It is also known as ‘Hot lemon’. Chillies are bright yellow, crinkled, cone-shaped and about 2½” long and 1/2″ wide and mature from green to yellow. These peppers were practically unknown in the West until the early 1990s but are now gaining wide-scale popularity.^
    They grow great in pots and container.
